Harry Cowan was one of my lecturers at Cheltenham College.  He was the one who introduced me to the Gloucestershire Philosophical Society and for that, I am always grateful.

I left Cheltenham some time ago and was perusing the net for his book: The human nature debate and stumbled on this, his memorial.

I will always remember Harry as very articulate, warm, straight and down to earth. One of the best lecturers I ever had.
